Latitude Enfant - Youpipop Soft Bowling Set Review

This is another great creation from Latitude Enfant. It's not the first one I wrote about either (Activity Strappers). Strap on your bowling shoes because it's time to knock down some pins! So this lovely set of stuffed pin pals comes as part of the Youpipop collection. Six soft and smiling buddies are waiting to be knocked over by the incoming soft rattle ball. Don't worry, they won't get hurt. Vibrantly multi-colored, the pins will certainly spark your child's interest.

But wait, there's more! Each pin's head is held on to its body via magnet, so your little one can mix and match bowling buds! The Youpipop Bowling Set will certainly induce hours of fun and laughter.

Pros: the company recommends using these from 18mo but I would suggest you get them much earlier : first your little one can use the pins as plush toys, and later on he'll have fun learning to bowl.
Cons: like all Latitude Enfantproducts it's need to be hand wash. So beware: wash in cold water and hang to air dry.
Age: 3mo - 4yr

Wee Gallery - Art Flash Cards for Baby Review

I'm sure you've read in of your your 50 baby books that at first your baby just see's high contrast images. This is what makes Art Flash Cards awesome because they grow with your baby. As your little one grows he becomes interested in different aspects of these cards. At birth, he is fascinated by the details of the design, and as she grows older he can point to the animals and learn their names. The black and white images and their repeating patterns really captivate little ones.

High-contrast visual patterns help promote infant brain development.

There are 8 different sets : Original Collection, Garden Collection, Jungle Collection, Sea Collection, farm Collection, Dino Collection, Woodlands Collection and Pets Collection

Great for a crib-side gallery, flash cards, and mobile (I'm sure you've seen these empty arch gyms where you can put up whatever you want: photo, flashcards, etc. I like The Flensted Mobile).

Pros: prints come from hand-painted originals and beautifully finished with matte lamination and child-friendly rounded corners
Cons: they seem a bit expensive for only 6 cards - but it's art...
Age: birth - 2yr

Tiny Love - Sunny Stroll Arch Review

So this is one of those items you don't really need right away, but it doesn't hurt to put it on your baby registry :)

Out of all the other attachment arches, I think this is probably the best one. A colorful, very flexible stroller/infant carrier arch, with lots of toys and activities, and at the ripe age of 3 months you baby will want nothing but to kick, pick at, and poke all the colorful things in front of him (or her). So they say the arch is for two stages of baby's development: batting (birth - 3mo) - which doesn't really happen at all because the baby barely wants to look at the thing, and pulling/manipulating (3mo+), this this is the part the baby just can't get enough of. Special angle adjustments and new easy attachment clips make Sunny Stroll truly unique.

Features: baby activated propeller, transparent sun prism, rattling butterfly ball with crinkly texture, flower mirror, crinkly butterfly, flexible arch with angle adjustment, easy attachment clips

Pros: so as i already said it's very flexible. You can attach it to almost anything. The item itself adjusts so that you can place certain parts closer to the baby. It also bends down away from the baby so you can easily take the baby in and out of the car seat, stroller, or bouncer without having to remove it.
Cons: so the best age to get it is when your little one is over 3m+ because before that your baby just isn't interested in it - too much going on, and no high contrast items.
Age: birth+

Lamaze - My First Mirror Review

from Lamaze

So you're a brand new parents, and the tiny new addition to your family is the focus of all your attention. Of course a newborn cannot do much at first, but as he begins to develop (and believe me, they change every 5 minutes) you will begin to notice certain habits.

One of the very first interests you little one will develop is staring at himself (or herself) in the mirror, and having a mirror around is essential to helping your little one develop the ability to recognize those around.

The First Mirror is an excellent choice. It's made by Lamaze, who are infamous for their birth techniques and it features brightly colored-fabric and a high-quality unbreakable, baby-safe mirror. As you know tummy time is extremely important for your little one's development, and this mirror has a soft wedge that helps support your baby during tummy time. It even has flexible adapter straps that attach to a crib or stroller.

Babies love to watch themselves, you'll see, and being that this mirror is portable, light weight, and easy to clean. This is a two-in-one mirror. It can attach to the crib, which is where our's is primarily. Or you can keep it fastened to the wedge and baby can use it for entertainment during tummy time. Stable on floor and can be taken of block to attach to other things... crib, car seat etc...

Pros: the mirror isn't distorted like many others from other brands
Cons: maybe it would become even more interesting for your baby if it would have some toys attached
Age: birth+

Flensted Mobiles -The Most Unique Review

Once I came across these online I had no choice but to share my find with all of you. These are some of the most unique, and adorable Mobiles I've seem to date.

But first about the wonderful people who make them:
So these mobiles, which are really a modern day fairy tale, are made on the island of Funen in Denmark, which is where Hans Christian Andersen was born -Flensted Mobiles-a family business that designs and makes mobiles at "Frederiksminde" the old village school at Brenderup.

Mobiles are a traditional craft in Denmark, but the modern mobile - as a decoration for the home - was created in 1954 by Christian Flensted and his wife Grethe. Their first design, the Stork mobile, was a great success, and now flies all over the world.

Christian Flensted became known as the "Uromager", a name impossible to translate into English, which means a "maker of things mischievous and always on the move".
Today, their son Ole and his wife Aase continue in the same tradition, and they call their R&D department - The "Department of Space Research".

Flensted Mobilesare created so that the elements are in constant motion while the entire mobile maintains a harmonic balance. Each mobile is carefully assembled, and balanced by skilful hands. They are packed so that they are ready to hang.

So enjoy this is something you will truly enjoy, and not just as part of your room decor, but it's something your little one will spend hours with as well. Very stimulating (visually) I think :)
